Are they scared they are being abandoned again?!? Norma Jean Eclipse (formerly known as her racing name, No Worry) was just dropped off at the hospital. Tomorrow, she will undergo numerous tests by one of the best sports medicine veterinarians on the east coast to determine where her pain is and what is causing it. Norma was forced to race 166 times during her “career.” That number is so outrageous. Being forced to race just once is bad enough! But 166 times? The average is 6 times per year for 5 years. That is the average!!!! Used and abused … then sent to slaughter. Sick. Please keep this beautiful girl in your thoughts. Please. Also, donate if you can. When I saw these photos of baby Moose, I cried. Immediate tears. He has been through so much. He was sent to auction shortly after being born due to his wry nose, then failed again years later by a false hero. He is the most confident horse here at the sanctuary, which tells you a lot about animals. “I’m different? I didn’t notice.” His nose has become a part of his personality and beauty. He is unique. He is powerful in so many ways. I am proud to be one of his numerous caretakers here at Rancho Relaxo. I really am. Love you, MOOSE CABOOSE! #animallovers #animalrescue #horses #rescuehorse

NO WORRY (her racing name) is settling in here at Rancho Relaxo after being rescued for slaughter last week. She is getting so comfortable that she started pooping in our direction — which is totally fine. Good for her. We have been tossing around a few names for this beauty. Every time I clean her quarantine area, I sing 🎤 TOTAL ECLIPSE OF THE HEARTTTT 🎶 — because a few of you suggested the name Eclipse. What do you think? ❤️ Thank you all for being here.
