08 : LEGENDS - 1.19 : The Siege of the North Part 1 - 1.20 : The Siege of the North Part 2 Hey, I’m Kyle! My best friend and I wrote a thesis about the animated Avatar series which got us the Best Thesis award in college, and now I’m doing a mini-review series of the Netflix adaptation! There is a whole lot to unravel in this episode but can I just start by saying that the finale of the live action series clearly claims the bag compared to, again, the live-action film — especially with the battle scene. What I noticed and loved about this episode is everyone got a moment to shine, even Momo. Along with Yue, Zhao and Iroh, the main characters were able to deliver the storyline that gives the finale the climax that all viewers have been expecting. The scenes were cinematically done great. I loved how they retained the bloody moon, and everything fading into black and white when the moon was slain, except for Yue’s eyes.
