This owlet was found at the base of a nearby beech tree, unable to get back to its nest. Luckily, the @ohiowildlifecenter was contacted and volunteer efforts were under way. The #owlet was transported to the wildlife hospital where it was cared for until today. We found the nesting mother Barred Owl in her nest. Not wanting to disturb the nest while occupied, we placed this youngster in a tree nearby. The mother owl will hear these clicks and certainly come feed this young one until it fledges.
