Replying to @resilience.artist for your case I would put the place or bed next to a doorway or corner. Put your dog into a STAY, practice a few rounds of easy temptations and rewards to build up their confidence, then show your dog your hand signal for STAY and calmy step out of view and return immediately. Reward them for not getting up. Repeat this over and over to build up to longer durations of you being out of view. And ALWAYS practice this on leash, especially if your dog is already prone to following your everywhere. When our dog breaks the STAY we can to bring them back into the position as soon as possible and the leash can help with this. Follow to train the human so your dog can learn too 🐾 #dogtraining #dogtrainingtips #dogtrainer #rottweiler #dogobedience #puppyobedience #puppytraining #dog #dogsoftiktok #dogowner
