Knowing he wanted to be a Firefighter, Duran joined the Fire Explorers in High School. His first day with Apopka F.D., he began to make an impression on his Firefighter family with his work ethic and eagerness to learn. He was named "Firefighter of the Year" in 2022 and has a foundation named in his honor to provide additional training and mentorship to Firefighters. Rest easy; We have the watch now! Yesterday, we had the privilege of recognizing the 7th anniversary of T.V.P. by Honoring 100 more Fallen Heroes in our biggest Plaque Build Event ever! T.V.P. team members, Veterans, and invited guests gathered to craft memorial plaques for 100 Fallen Veterans and First Responders from across the country. Soon, Legacy Guardians will deliver these plaques to each Hero’s family, reminding them we will NEVER forget their Hero’s service and sacrifice. This event is a powerful statement of remembrance and respect for these Fallen Heroes, and it wouldn’t be possible without people like you who are dedicated to ensuring no Hero goes forgotten.
