Our cycles & Menopause: I began embracing my cycle and truly loving it & it’s power at a young age And this is not exclusive to me, I knew this understanding was for ALL women. If you notice there are days in your cycle when you have a lot of energy, use it! You will notice days in your cycle when you are exhausted, sleep! You will notice days when your physical body is stronger and more flexible, work out, do yoga. And you will notice days when your body is tight and tired, honor this with a bath. TAKE TIME OFF WORK. Your job is fine without you for a day or two each month, your children can have a sitter for a few hours. Stop choosing pain and suffering over power. Make the changes you need to step into your power, it lives in your cycle. And not until you embrace your cycle will your power be fully embraced. And yes this all applies to menopause. When we are honored with HOLDING our power, no longer needing to “shed” energy monthly we have mastered “holding” it. So yes this will come with struggle all change does. Our DNA, environment and societies pressures can make the struggle harder and that’s ok. It’s not about “fixing” or stopping it’s about what is right for you so you can move thru it with as much ease as possible. So let’s stop blaming “emotional” behavior on your menstrual cycle. Our cycle is when we are the most honest emotionally, psychically and physically. All of these areas are magnified, truth is magnified. That which we repress otherwise rises to the surface during our cycles. And THANK GOD it does! It allows us to heal, feel & move thru that which we no longer need. We are our most psychic during our cycles, we just don’t take the time out to stop and experience it. This is why we want to curl up in a ball, this is why we want to be alone, this is why we hurt physically and emotionally because we are “forced” to feel our connection to the earth, to others and to ourselves intuitively. Understanding how to feel others without burdening yourself is the five steps to consciousness. DM for the steps When you choose to see your cycle & menopause as the force of power that it is you will embrace all that it brings.
