For the past three years, I’ve been missing that Eid excitement, the anticipation of preparing things, indulging in girly activities, and gathering with family and friends. But this year, I noticed a change on social media. Everyone was sharing content about Eid, from getting their nails done to styling their hair and buying kahk. Today, I felt like that 10 year old girl 🧍🏻‍♀️who couldn’t sleep all night, lying next to her new Eid clothes, wearing her favorite pajamas until she woke up for salah.
