Unicorn headband 🦄 Today is National Unicorn day and we couldn’t resist joining in with @Faber-Castell UK to create the most colourful unicorn headband craft! Of course we used all recycled materials and things we already had at home to create this headband including toilet paper rolls, kitchen roll paper and cardboard! We used our Faber-Castell watercolour paints and connector felt tip pens from their Unicorn range. My daughter is obsessed with this range, especially the unicorn tin which she is always walking around with 😜 It holds so many felt tip pens, perfect for crafting on the go! To create the flowers let them air dry and then peel off the second layer of tissue for each flower (since the kitchen roll is 2-ply). Then you add a tiny drop of glue in the middle of one circle, put the other circle on top then grab the gluey centre of both tissues from underneath and twist! The headband is just a small strip of cardboard with the ears, unicorn horn and flowers and then string attached on the ends. We also added glitter, from the paint set for a little extra sparkle. Want to see how my daughter made the flowers? Let me know if you want to see the video in the comments 🦄 #unicornday #unicorncrafts #kidscrafts #diytutorial #easypaperflowers #fabercastell #colouringpenset #diy #stationery #stationeryshop #cardboardcrafts #fabercastellpencil #recycledcrafts #unicornheadband #diyheadband #colourful #creativekids #simplecrafts #tissuepaperflower
