I’m turning over a new leaf and just kicking out as much content as I can on this project. My sister picked out the tile over the bar sink, but unfortunately they stopped making it and we were only able to get just enough without tiling behind this mirror. So a couple cool things. First of all, my sister that restored this mirror for me, which I think is awesome. And the second is she and I lived on a farm for a couple of decades and somehow she found this mirror along time ago, just laying on the side of the road our farm was on. I know some of you were pressed over that 11” drop in the floor where I lowered the OG basement floor. After 2 years of no one falling, we finally had all the custom steel fabrication completed. We added a railing on the ledge, two railings on the main set of stairs, a stainless foot rail around the bar, a stainless cover under the sink to hide the plumbing, plus a lot of scalloped steel on the custom doors.
