Crispy Pork Belly Strips 🤩 Roasting your pork belly in strips allows for maximum flavour in every bite and also maximum crunch! @Murray River Salt as always for the ultimate pork crackle 👌 Written recipe below; - Slice roughly 1kg of pork belly in to 3 equal strips. - Score the rind with a sharp knife then apply Murray River Salt to draw out excess moisture. - Place in the top of the fridge uncovered overnight to dry out. - When you are ready to cook pat the pork rind dry with paper towels. - In a small bowl combine, 1 tsp anise, 1/2 tbsp smoked paprika, 1/2 tbsp fennel seeds, 1/2 tbsp Murray River Salt and 1/2 cup olive oil. - Mix well and set aside. - Flip the pork belly meat side up in a roasting dish. - Spoon the wet marinade over the meat and massage in to all sides avoiding the rind. - Flip skin side up and wipe any excess marinade off the rind to avoid burning. - Brush with a light layer of olive oil and a sprinkle of Murray River Salt. - Place in to a preheated oven set to 200C for 1 hour. - Once the crackle has set and the meat is tender remove and allow to rest on the bench for 10-15 mins. - Slice thinly with a sharp knife and serve straight away 🤗 #cheatmeats #murrayriversalt #porkbelly #pork #porkchops #salt #porkrecipes #roastpork #bbq #roastedpork #australianpork #barbecue #meat
