๐ ๏ธ Buy Tools (Learn) and DIY ๐ ๏ธ Here's your sign to grab some tools and tackle that repair yourself. Example: replacing the heating element on a Maytag dryer and giving it a good clean. Remove Back Panels: Start by taking off the two back/top panels. Slide & Remove Top: Gently lift and slide the top back. Detach Screws: Take out the top screws, then the front screws. Lift Front: Carefully lift the front end and stablize it, remove more screws. Disconnect Wire Harness: This allows you to remove the front panel and the heating element completely. Clean Time: With a few more screws out, clean with a vacuum. Remove Heating Element Fit New Element: Adjust tabs to fit the new heating element (theyโre fairly universal). My go-to everyday carry Olight was a nice little helper here. Reassemble: Slide the new element in and reverse the steps until everything is back together and running hot! Remember: Buy Tools, Not Labor. Be prepared for everything and empower yourself with DIY skills. Your dryer/everything (and wallet) will thank you! ๐ง๐ก #DIYRepairs #MaytagDryer #HomeImprovement #BuyToolsNotLabor
