I literally had an epiphany while I was calling you, that if I would not have gotten that job, because it was my “dream job” I would have taken it so personally, and I really would have let it affect myself worth. When, in hindsight, if I wouldn’t have gotten it, it really would’ve been just God‘s protection… Because it was straight up awful haha it’s funny how feelings can deceive us sometimes because I was so sure that job was for me. When really, in my heart, it was just that I was so sure of my dream, but there are many jobs that align with my dreams. Anyway, I’m preaching the choir here, but when something doesn’t go our way, we really have to start encouraging ourselves, reminding ourselves of the truth, and not letting ourselves spiral! Omggg but when you think about it like discouragement and self doubt and defeat come at you most when you’re on the brink of achieving your dreams, it hits different!
