What is this fruit called where you’re from? In South Florida, it’s typically called custard apple. 🍎 The scientific name is annona reticulata 🤓 The flavor is very sweet like a dessert and the texture is rich and creamy 🤤 There are many varieties of annona reticulata. Some varieties have green skin that turns yellow when it’s ripe, we have a seperate box for these called “green custard apple”. 💚 Green Custard apples will be ready to harvest in a few weeks, but they’re more limited than the red ones Some custard apple varieties have red skin and dark red flesh inside, some are red on the outside and completely white on the inside, and others have red skin and a mix of pink and white flesh inside. 💗 The variety in this video has red skin and is pink inside. If you order a custard apple box, you may get one or multiple varieties depending on what’s ready to harvest. 🌳 Make sure to wait until the fruit is soft all over before eating. It should be soft enough to open with your bare hands when ripe 🙌 #custardapple #annonareticulata #annona #bullocksheart #cherimoya #redcustardapple #ramphal #exoticfruit #corazonfruit #redcherimoya #miamifruit #tropicalfruit #rarefruit #fruitarian #fruit #frugivore #rawvegan #vegan #plantbased #asmr #natureasmr #fruitasmr
