if there's any piece of advice I can give new stylists entering the beauty world its to always remain human behind the chair. I understand that my level of comfortability with my client might shock some, but this client drives 4 hours ONE WAY to sit in my chair because of the type of experience she receives. She could totally find someone closer but chooses me over that. She happily pays my prices and is willing to travel to me because of the experience I provide for her. Treat your clients with respect and treat them like a human and they will reciprocate that. Clients book you for who you are, NOT what you offer. The more you show your personality, your likes and interests, and show them you're a real person, the more they're likely to book with you because of that. People book with people, not businesses. if you want to learn more about how to integrate yourself onto your social media and with your clientele, download my app Straight Out of Cosmo, subscribe, and take the "peeling back the layers" course 🤍
