Being given the opportunity to sow seeds of hope, joy and love in others who’ve only been exposed to abuse, neglect, negativity and hate isn’t for the faint of heart. All the while knowing you won’t be the one to reap the harvest is a new level of being of service to others. It’s giving without expectation of anything in return. You can certainly choose animosity and resentment for the perception of receiving nothing. Or you can embrace gratitude for being given the opportunity to change someone’s perception and trajectory of their own life because you crossed their path.
