Building these skills definitely didn’t happen overnight, but it’s been a gradual process every day. We started when Kalia was around 12 months old. She showed interest and would mimic everything we did, so I began involving her in our daily tasks. Teaching kitchen skills to your child isn’t a one-size-fits-all situation. Every child is different, so there’s no universal age or approach. Instead, watch for signs of interest and readiness. When you notice their curiosity, invite them to watch and gradually involve them in simple tasks. Remember, it’s okay if your child doesn’t show interest right away; not all kids will, and that’s perfectly fine. It’s a unique journey for each family.❤️ Table&chair @sprout_kids use our code KALIA to get 10% off #montessoritoddler #montessori #montessoriathome #montessoriinspired #montessoriactivity #montessoribaby #montessorichild #montessorimom #independence #childhooddevelopment #toddlerlife #toddlerhood #montessoriskills #toddleractivities #practicallifeactivity #parenting #learning #toddlerfoodprep #toddlercooking #toddlerfoodpreptools #snackprep #childhood #motherhoodunplugged #toddlerindependence #independenttoddler #functionalkitchen #toddlerfunctionalkitchen #toddlersnackstation #practicallifeskills #beginnerfoodpreptools
