I actually caved back in 2017 and got a truck… I was working a sales job with decent commissions, so I figured I’d “reward myself” The truck was definitely fun, but the excitement eventually wore off. After a few months of $700 payments, I realized pretty quick how stupid of a decision it was. So I sold it, got a Honda CR-V, and put all the money into getting my first Airbnb property. That unit started making around $6000 a month, which kickstarted this whole journey into the real estate world. This really wasn’t that long ago. But a few years of delaying gratification, now I have a sweet truck that I love and my wife has her dream car, but this time I don’t have to worry about the payments. Our assets cover it for us. Now we can enjoy our vehicles without it feeling like a burden. If you want to learn more about how to escape the rat race, give my page a follow!
