Twilight: Eclipse 😉 No but seriously, taking a video like this was my main goal while photographing the eclipse. I wish I had weighted down my tripod and been better prepared to counter the shake of shooting at 500mm, but hey, it’s not like I’m used to doing this type of video work. Seeing the total solar eclipse was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and it even brought me to tears. Just wow! 🌖 Thanks so much to @Mod Motels to having us out at Iron Springs Lodge in Whitney, TX for this amazing event. 2024 is turning out to be an epic year for bluebonnets, and one of the best photo spots you can visit is Muleshoe Bend Recreation Area in Spicewood, TX. When you’re in the area, also check out other LCRA Parks like Turkey Bend and Grelle Recreation Area, which are all popping off with bluebonnets right now! ‼️ Please be respectful and don’t trample the bluebonnets. This is one of the prettiest state parks in the Texas Hill Country, and it’s only a 90 minute drive from Austin! 📍Inks Lake State Park, Burnet, TX While you’re in the area, keep an eye out for all the bluebonnets that are currently blooming everywhere around Burnet, Marble Falls, and Kingsland.
