With the genocides, upcoming election, and our civil & human rights under attack from all angles, we need to make room for folks who know what they're talking about to uplift and educate us. It’s easy to label somebody a bully when you see them effortlessly tear through people everyday on the internet **mind you she’s typically tearing through people that are wrong.** Still, you may take offense and not feel that’s the right way to do it. But at the end of the day, she’s a person. I know nobody’s safe on this internet but please stop using the strong black woman trope against us. Have some couth please everybody.

Allegedly, the purpose is to give the secretary of commerce power over tech produced in China, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Russia and Venezuela— all countries America has an eye on. If the app is not sold by September, there’s talk of a million dollar fine or up to 20 years jail time for anyone who may try to access it using a VPN. The timing is no coincidence, and the claim is that these countries could use the app to surveil Americans or influence voters by either boosting or shadow-banning whatever content they like…. I just feel like the algorithm been doing bad all by itself…
