I never thought l'd end up living on the Upper East Side...let alone loving it. I went to NYU for undergrad, and anything above 14th Street felt like Siberia. To me, uptown was a place for museums and mommies. It was a no from me. Slowly but surely, I began to realize the magic of uptown. Central Park! The shopping! The history! The iconic restaurants! The people-watching! It's been eight months, and I can't imagine living anywhere else in NYC.
