if only this could be fully farm-to-table 🍋 inspired by @Carissa Stanton’s one-skillet recipe — adding this to my dinner diaries when i need something delicious to make! + 1 lb chicken thighs, with skin + salt & pepper, paprika + 1 shallot & garlic cloves, minced + 8oz orzo (I did cassava orzo!) + 2 cups chicken broth + 1 cup heavy cream or coconut milk + lemon zest and lemon juice + topped with parsley 1. season chicken thigh skin side first with salt, pep, and paprika 2. Sear skin side down for 4-5 minutes. While searing, season other side if chicken (learned this trick from #alisonroman) 3. Sear other side, 4-5 minutes and then remove from pan 4. Add shallots and garlic to same pan, scrape getting all the bits 5. Add chicken broth, lemon juice, cream, and orzo - stir well 6. Bring to boil and add chicken back in with some lemon wedges 7. Bake at 400F for 10-12 mins 8.
