After being found guilty in 1999 of murdering 8-year-old Jamie Lavis two years earlier, Darren Vickers finally admitted what he’d done on tape whilst in Strangeways prison (HMP Manchester). He quickly retracted it, though, and then attempted to appeal his life sentence. After serving his 25-year minimum, Vickers applied for parole, but it was rejected by the Parole Board. 📺 The full video of this tragic case is available to watch at youtube.com/@britishmurders The audio-only version of the podcast can be accessed on Apple Podcasts, Spotify or any other podcast platform.
