For plantar fasciitis, don’t get me wrong… ⬇️ Symptom reduction through any mechanism, whether it’s temporary or longer term has value. If the frozen water bottle or tennis ball helps, by all means do it. But it should not be the PRIMARY focus of your treatment. (I rewatched my video and shouldn’t have said “waste of time” bc everyone’s treatment is going to be different). Shoe wear: lots of differing opinions on this. My thoughts👉 there are two different categories of treatment phases. Initially we want to cushion the heel, provide support, reduce the irritation. Once symptoms reduce (not necessarily gone) then we can progress to a more minimalist shoe to begin the strength training phase, depending on your daily activities and occupation.
