We spoke with Dusty Gannon AKA “Goth Dad” from the band Vision Video, live about his time working on an ambulance during the COVID-19 outbreak in 2020, his experience in Afghanistan and his music. If you haven’t listened to songs like “In My Side,” “Beautiful Day to Die,” and “Kandahar” then I promise you… you’re missing out. It’s hard for me to relate to a lot of other people and even harder for me to relate to other veterans who are online in the creative space. But I can happily say that I was humbled, then impressed, and then brought to tears as you can see in this clip. You know how they say: “Don’t meet your idols.” Sometimes they’re wrong.
