Fake it til you make it. My motto for as long as I can remember. The older I get, the more I learn that as long as long as you being your best self, its going to be a good day. As long as you’re confident in whatever you do you can’t fail. Positive in, positive out. Each time I look at how far I’ve come in this journey, I see that there is so much more room to grow than I thought there was. And there was a time in the beginning of my motherhood chapter that I thought I would never love myself again. It just didn’t seem achievable. But in spite of the obvious physical sacrifices I’ve had to make as a mother, I’ve never felt more beautiful, loved, self confident or even self aware. And it radiates through every aspect of my life. As a mother, in my job, in my marriage and even friendships. Comparing my current self confidence to highschool years, or even 5 years ago, its two different people entirely. I did always fake it to some degree, but insecurities riddled me with anxiety for years. Point is, self love and condidence in who you are is hard fucking work. But getting there, or even progress is such a high. And once you find it, or start to find it, that positive energy and love spreads throughout your life and everything you touch. Its not perfect yet, but we’ll get there.
