I’ve been doing this for a while and after a while you just become numb to the hate. They hate anything that they don’t understand. They hate anything that deviates from the norm. I want to uplift people and encourage them to love and be themselves. That’s all. I know that I’ve had a positive impact on people already and their love and support is what fuels me on this journey. Even though I’m in a challenging situation, I’m proud of myself. Giving a TEDx talk and being interviewed by Vogue are things I never dared to imagine.
