As 2024 comes to a close, I want to share some of my favorite moments from fostering this past year😻 In January, Rue and Rylie became my first fosters of 2024. And boy, were they special!! Poor Rue gave birth under a car in the cold rain. 2 of the kittens passed almost immediately and someone brought her and the 2 remaining kittens to the shelter. Sadly due to over crowding and difficulty of caring for such young kittens, they were scheduled to be euth@Nized almost immediately. Shelters here in Texas do their best to help, but they legally cannot turn away any animals, and are already completely over crowded with dogs and cats. Please get your pets fixed and adopt instead of buying from a breeder! That will help save more lives like Rue and Rylie. No, I do not have an update on Rue and Rylie. I have fostered HUNDREDS of animals and it would be a full time job trying to keep up with all of them! Sharon and her 6 kittens are so brave and strong! I’ve been fostering them for a few days now.
