Not a lofi or metal song that could match the vibe this pair is putting out. This part of my process I’ve been working on for over a year. It’s a massive reason I haven’t posted as much. I didn’t want to share this publicly yet and it pretty much dominates my whole method of creating. My videos felt so lacking to me cause I was leaving half of the work out anytime I wanted to post. Here’s what’s going on! I’m incorporating both the Copic airbrush system and various brands of paint through a iwata airbrush over my whole design through masking. Normally I only use an airbrush for auras like fire, lightning, glows, etc. The base tones have to be done with Copic for the thin layers of paint to absorb properly. The catch is color matching a shade up or down to compensate for the copics used as the base since paint and ink change values when blending together. Knowing when to do it is the hard part.. what Copic IDs change the paint tone and what paints do you mix to get that color along with consistency. Fabric reacts completely different than leather. I hate paint stacked on the shoe so it’s important for it to bleed into the shoe like the rest of the mediums I’m using. I wanted to see what a copic designer and a painter would look like if they both split half the work… this is part of the results! I’ve tried so many different paints, thinners, tapes, stacking methods.. this video alone doesn’t even grasp what I’m going through. I think this video content alone was 14-15 hrs worth of work. My brother told me all the time if you’re gonna do something be the best at it., idk what my best looks like, but I’m still trying in some way everyday. For anyone looking to create using these methods.. I go live on twitch, you can watch the whole process there!!! #dbz #dragonballz #akiratoriyama #customsneakers #goku #vegeta #animeart
