They say “Blood is thicker than water.” So does that mean just because you are related by blood that you are obligated to experience the effects of toxicity from the bloodsuckers who are related to you? ✨ No thank you. ✨ In the Bible, when Jesus was asked about his blood family members, he said “Who is my mother? Who are my brothers?” Then he pointed to his disciples and said, “Look, these are my mother and brothers. Anyone who does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother!” ✨ So the next time you feel obligated to do something or be somewhere or be involved in something under the weight of “blood being thicker than water,” ask your self, What Would Jesus Do? ✨ To be clear, this is not an authorization to cut anyone off or to block sincere attempts to communicate and gain understanding. Rather, It is a blueprint undergirded by truth and love to guard your heart, preserve your energy, and remain open to forgiveness and love without the weight of guilt.
