These stuffed pears definitely speaks the love language - be sure to try them out this Valentine’s Day ❤️ Ingredients: * 1 cup pecan nuts * 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder * 2 tablespoons honey * 400 grams puff pastry * 8 Bon Chretien pears (perfect for baking) - @Checkers South Africa * 2 egg yolks Method: * Preheat the oven to 200° Celsius. * Finely chop the pecan nuts & place into a bowl. To the nuts add in cinnamon powder & honey. Mix well until combined. * Bring out the pears & peel them. * Use a teaspoon to scoop & hollow out the pears from the bottom. * Fill the pears with the nut mixture. * Open out the puff pastry & cut out 8 squares - big enough to fit the base of the pears. Thereafter cut enough strips to go around the pears & you may cut leaves if there’s excess pastry. * Place the puff pastry squares onto a baking sheet, & place the pears over it. * Carefully cover the base of the pears with the pastry & then use the strips to go around the pears. * Add pastry leaves & brush the pears with beaten egg yolks. * Bake in the preheated oven for ± 20 minutes. * Serve & enjoy! #eatmeerecipes #valentinesday #desserts #southafricatiktok #valentinesdessert #pears #africarising #puffpastry #recipes
