Anxiety shows up differently for everyone and can sometimes be crippling for some people. I find that most patients are not even aware that they are anxious because they think anxiety means panic attacks. But it’s not. It can be as subtle as overworking, people pleasing or always comparing yourself to others. A balanced mental health is the most important aspect of wellness so if you find yourself feeling unsettled with yourself, take the time to sit with it and figure out why. Please don’t be afraid to ask for help if you think you need it. Contrary to what you may think, asking for help is a sign of strength.
