Pine Needle Cough Syrup 2 cups washed & cut up Fresh Pine needles 2 cups distilled water Honey for the final step 1. In a medium sauce pan, simmer pineneedles in water very low for 30 min. 2. Take off heat and let cool down. 3. Strain through a cheese cloth. 4. Measure out the Pine Needle juice and add either half that amount or 1/4 that amount of Honey based on personal preference. 5. Place in covered jar and kept refrigerated. Should be good for about a month. Adults can take a teaspoon to a tablespoon every 4 hours for a cough.
