Here are some bonus thoughts on curly hair. I love my curls. Something about me that I love- without shame. Something others before me have not been able to love without shame. I hope some of this commentary resonates contempoarily. But, this video without a aknowledgement to the past would be incomplete. I wish I spoke on this in the video and one day I will. I take pride, honor, and gratitude in my ability to wear my curls free and untamed. My BIPOC brothers and sisters cannot say the same. I owe it to ever body of culture for their strife, research into curls, traditional curl practices/products, and daily inequity for my ability to live. So, thank you.
