Where are my mom friends 😌🫶🏽 — ❄️ One of the BIGGEST mom things that really ices me is when people say “put the baby down, you’re going to spoil him.” 😒 — 👶🏻 I feel like this is only a thing in the West?! Other cultures keep their babies close & mostly on them for the first year, at a minimum! Babies aren’t supposed to be independent, they’re BABIES. They are supposed to learn they can depend on you. Period. — 👉🏽 Skin to skin contact from mom helps regulate her baby’s temperature. Simple eye to eye contact from her can calm baby’s nervous system. Wearing your baby means they are close enough to hear your heartbeat and makes them feel safe. It’s also great to boost milk supply. How amazing is Gods design?! — 🌱 Baby wearing has been one of my favorite things in this new season of motherhood. He’s taken a LOT of naps in his carrier & I’ve gotten lots of things done with him in it. It was especially helpful in the newborn stageto be able to have the ability to walk around or do things with him safe, calm, & content on me. He’s a lot heavier now 😅 but we still use it almost daily at 8 months. He loves to see what I’m doing & be involved. Dad carries him in it too! 😆 — 🥛This carrier is also super easy to nurse in. I love the head rest that folds up.
