It is absolutely C R A Z Y to think that this idea and dream started 9 years ago. When I started, it was more so a hobby before it became an idea to do it full time. Jobs as a starting graphic designer wanted you to work for next to nothing, or you were going to blow your entire check getting stuck in traffic everyday. Some interviews also wanted you to WORK before they would even hire you. So I played around a little more and tried printing shirts. I had no idea what etsy was, but I started one and got it going and the rest is history. Was it a smooth ride? Hell no. Would have I traded it for a regular job? Also hell no. I know full heartedly I was made to create and be creative. It’s just who I am and I believe that has helped me majorly through it all. If I was not passionate about what I was creating, it would not have translated through my work. The best part about the job are the stories along the way from you all. Tshirts were not just to be worn, but a way to bring others together. You’ve all told me stories that have made me so happy, made me laugh, and some have made me cry. The stories including meeting your favorite musician randomly in a lobby with a custom shirt you made for the event, using the shirt as a way to announce your pregnancy after YEARS of infertility, bringing your child closer to a friend next door by giving them an extra tank, through countless bachelorette memories, to making friends with strangers saying ‘hey I like your shirt!’. THAT is why we are here and why we keep going.
