If you've ever made cutout sugar cookies but they didn't turn out like you wanted, my recipe will become your go-to. This is a no-chill, no spread recipe. The ingredients for this sugar cutout cookie recipe may look like others but the secret is all in how it's made. To decorate them you can use your favorite frosting - royal icing, buttercream, or eat them without frosting. They're that good! You can double and even triple the recipe. Please tag us if you make it! * Ingredients: - 2 sticks (113 grams per stick) salted COLD butter (not room temperature) - 1 cup granulated sugar - 1 large egg - 4 TSP extract of your choice (I use 2 vanilla, 2 butter) - 2 TSP baking powder (not baking soda) - 3 cups of AP flour *Preparation: Mix butter and sugar until combined (about 1 min; don't cream). Add egg and extracts and mix (about 1 min). Add baking powder and just combine. Add half of thr flour and mix for about 30 seconds to incorporate. Add remaining flour. The dough will be ready when it pulls away from the sides of the bowl. Bake at 350 for 7-8 mins; time will vary depending on cookie size. Mix at medium to medium high speed, except for when adding ingredients at first. #sugarcookies#cookierecipe#nochillcookiedough#decoratedcookies#royalicing#sugarcookie#cookie#sugar#cookiedecorating#decoratedcookies#rolledbuttercream#rolledbuttercreamcookies#tiktokcookieschool#cookies#sugarcookie#cookiedecoratingadvice#cookiedecoratingforbeginners#baker#baking#royalicing#sugarcookierecipeMagic Glockenspiel
