Is there anything better than fresh greenery at Christmas time? I think not! Living in the PNW we have access to many different types of greenery, but our favourite is cypress! Making your wreath from scratch is quite easy and cheap. All you need is fresh greenery (ours was picked from our yard), a knife and floral wire! How To Make A Wreath: For the bottom layer, you want to use thicker branches to give your wreath substance so it can hang. Then you layer wispy pieces on top. We secured all the branches with floral wire and stuffed in some tree ferns at the very end. It’s so easy and you can be so creative. We wanted a very simple cypress wreath for our front door.
