Some good news from COP28… A deal was just passed to transition away away from fossil fuels. After 2 weeks of negotiations, this is the first time a global climate deal has specifically called to curb oil and gas. The climate technologies and solutions that are needed to solve our world’s biggest environmental problems are already out there. Now it’s time to scale these solutions exponentially by 2030. I’m feeling hopeful after COP28 but now the real work begins to put these pledges to work protect our planet 🌎 ##climatechangeambassador #COP28 #cop28uaeofficial

As 2024 begins and I reflect on last year, it feels like so much has happened. We have now collected 1.8 million kg of plastic, we operate 8 waste sorting centers, and we have installed 268 trash barriers in Indonesia’s rivers. This couldn’t have happened without the generous support of our sponsors and partners. But our work is only beginning and 2024 is all about expanding our impact across Indonesia and into our second country through simple solutions and the power of community. Here’s to many more clean rivers in 2024. Happy new year from the rivers!💧🌊
