This was done with a pipe rig on the dolly holding a MoVI Pro.⁠ operated by Jim McConkey on the wheels with Anthony Cappello pulling focus using a 15-40mm lens to add a bit more speed to the start of the pullback by burying a short zoom out.⁠ Key Grip Charlie Sherron also put the desk on some track to allow our dexterous on-set dresser Kara Haas (watching the shot on her iPad) to move it into position.⁠ A 144 degree shutter angle was used to give the motion a subtle sharpening.
