Peanut hoisin sauce…. Everyone has their own recipe and this is mine •1/2 tablespoon cooking oil •1 tablespoon minced garlic •2 tablespoon chopped shallots •3/4 cup water •1/2 cup hoisin sauce •3 tablespoon peanut butter •1 tablespoon white vinegar •1/2 tablespoon sugar 1•In a pan add oil and garlic. Cook until garlic lightly golden. 2•Add shallots and continue to fry for a minute. 3•Add the rest of the ingredients in and mix well until everything is combined and smooth. Bring to a low simmer for 2 minutes. Sauce will thicken once cool off. If too thick just add a little more water and bring back to simmer. Store leftover in the fridge after completely cool off. Heat when ready to eat again. Filling: lettuce, mint, fish mint, Vietnamese coriander, cucumber, bean sprout, vermicelli noodle and shrimp. You can add whatever else you want.
