If the pistachios are on the bottom they’ll start to blend into a nut butter. There’s a longer tutorial on my youtube where all food colors and edible markers I used here are linked. Make sure to allow a couple days for this project because you’ll want to make sure your royal icing is fully set before you start painting. I make my cookies and ice them the day before.
