Destroy to Restore. ⚒️ I found this beautiful horse artwork from the flea market but the glass was cracked which allowed me to see and feel that it was actually a silk scarf framed underneath. I was already in love with the piece and immediately had the idea to smash the glass so I can paint on the scarf around the horse before replacing it with a new piece of glass. I’ve been really getting into painting old antique sculptures lately and now I am drawn to restoring old paintings.
