The first poem I’m actually proud of. When we free the world the world frees us. I told my professor that the gen0cide in p@lestine has been affecting my ability to get work done. She responded, “I just wish everyone could be peaceful” how can you wish for peace without first acknowledging the way things are! What has lead to the lack of peace?? You don’t want peace. You want to stop hearing about struggle. The US is funding this. The entire western empire is complicit. I’m taking accountabilty for the fact that my comfortablity and “paradise” is tainted with the blood of the people of the global majority.
