My little book of tree portraits- eventually these will be available for sale - please send me a DM if you’re interested. This was supposed to be a sketchbook of thumbnails and studies meant to be research/demos for the tree drawing class I began teaching, but quickly transformed into fully finished tree portraits. It’s not what I intended, but being able to spend hundreds of hours drawing trees this year has been a pleasure and an honor. These drawings will be for sale eventually. I’ll donate part of the proceeds of each drawing to @onetreeplanted, an organization that plants trees and fights deforestation - write me if you’re interestex

For anyone interested in the materials I use in my sketchbooks- the “Materials” section/lecture is available for free through the Sketchbook Habit workshop through my link in bio - I’ll go through everything I use (although if you take the workshop you don’t need everything on the list- only the tools that fit your vision of what you want your sketchbook to look like). My live Sketchbook Habit class is completely full until April- if you need help beginning your sketchbook practice, I have a recorded class available- you can register through the link in bio. I tried to pace it the same way as the live class, with different sections becoming available throughout the month (for everyone who asked - there’s no expiration limit on the class, it’s available permanently) I teach everything I’ve learned over my own 23 year sketchbook practice- techniques, materials, but most importantly - how to make your habit stick, and how to set up a foundation so solid that you continue even when life gets in the way
