Hi everyone, this is not something I usually do or would ever ask help for on the normal but because of this sudden emergency and how expensive his vet bills are at the moment I had to come to this and to also spread awareness about the seriousness of addisons disease. Rocco is my 4 year old poodle/mix dog who is very spunky yet gentle boy who loves frogs and is always excited to encounter one when he can. He’s also my ESA companion my mother gave me in December 2019 and we have been through so much together and has truly helped me at my lowest moments. Unfortunately Rocco has been diagnosed with Addisons disease recently. Addison’s is an uncommon disease in dogs (in humans too!) and it is caused by a deficiency of essential hormones that are made by the adrenal glands. This means that it is a lifelong illness and will need monthly checkups and medication along with cautious supervision. With the emergency care he needed bills are constantly stacking rounding up to my current goal and its only so much I can personally finance myself. I truly cannot fathom a world without rocco and refuse to give up in his health even if its lifelong since I had him as a pup. No one is obligated to help but sharing his story or even taking the time to read means the world to me. Anything helps..Thank you so much.
