Here are some of the best beaches in Oahu, Hawaii. 1. Some of the best beaches from my experience are on the North and East side of the island. Waimea Bay Beach, Haleiwa Alii Beach in north Shore, and Lanikai Beach, Kailua Beach on the East side. Minimal number of people, soft sand and clear blue waters. The furthest away possible from tourists in Waikiki, the better. 2. Hanauma Bay in Waikiki and Shark’s Cove in North Shore are great places for snorkeling. Reservations are required for Hanauma Bay, but not for Shark’s Cove. Make sure to get some Reef-safe sunscreen. You’ll need it to protect yourself and the coral reefs. My fav is Hawaiian Tropic’s Matte Effect. And, water shoes are great to protect your feet against sharp or slippery rocks when snorkeling. You can purchase both of these at your nearest ABC Store. 3. Some of the worse beaches I’ve seen are at Waikiki. Big, rough rocks and green water. And, don’t bother going to the Hilton Lagoon. Just nasty. #foodie #foodtiktok #foodontiktok #hawaii #oahu #hawaiianfood #honolulu #waikiki #hawaiian #thingstodoinhawaii #hawaiitiktok #hawaiifoodie #hawaiianfood #hawaiifood #hawaiianbreakfast #hawaiiansnacks #hawaiitravel #honolulu #travel #traveler #hawaiitravel #travelhawaii #traveltiktok #traveltips
