We’re off the beaten track with our latest foster bird! She’s a baby oriental magpie robin, native to Singapore. A member of our family rescued her after she fell from her nest during a storm. She didn’t have many feathers at first but grew fluffy within a couple of weeks. We handfeed her mealworms almost every hour of the day (Thank God Wolfie & Sharky & thé parrotlet gang are vegetarian!) We hope she’ll start to feed on her own soon. She’s very different from the parrotlets but just as adorable and unsurprisingly, they don’t interact at all.
