Everyone want to know where i have been. Life Update: 2023 did not go as we had hoped but it still went. On January 17, Kris, found out that a lymph node in his neck was malignant for cancer. Never anything that you want to hear. It was then confirmed that he had squamous cell carcinoma that originated on his tongue and had spread to lymph nodes on both sides of his neck. Kris had to get a port and feeding tube before starting his 35 radiation treatments to his neck and 6 chemo treatments. Treatment was a long hard road but we took it one day at a time. Kris had his 3 month PET scan in July and learned that there was no evidence of cancer left. Life has a new normal now but we are still just taking it one day at a time. Thankful for the progress made so far. #fyp #cancersucks
