EPISODE 2: “Teacups” ☕️ (part 2) It’s 1969 at the Noble House of Black, and Narcissa, Andromeda, and Bellatrix Black are enjoying a visit home during Christmas vacation. Narcissa Black has developed an interest in divination, and she tests her newfound skills by reading the tea leaves of her elder sisters. The sisters learn that their fates may be more intertwined than expected. Directors Notes: As you can probably tell, this is one of the few episodes that we filmed on a DSLR camera instead of an iPhone. There are a few fun details to watch for in this episode. First are the choices that we made with the sister’s costumes; this is one of the few episodes where Bellatrix appears wearing something other than black, as we wanted to emphasize her innocence before meeting Tom Riddle. If you look closely, Bellatrix also has a crooked wand that she deposits on the table, which is a replica of the one she uses in the film (which our producer made from a hot glue gun!) Also, on the wall behind the piano where Bellatrix is seated, there’s a barely visible painting of a dark-haired woman with two daughters.
