It’s YOUR time for abs! 🔥 These belly breathing exercises are amazing for anyone! But especially if you are: -PREGNANT and wanting to protect your core. -POSTPARTUM and wanting to heal your core/diastasis recti. -A LIFTER and want to establish a strong and coordinated core. They are effective because I coordinate them with proper diaphragmatic breathing and pelvic floor activation. The breathing can feel intimidating..but here’s how to do it! Throughout each exercise, in order to breathe properly, picture “filling your belly with air” as you inhale and “pushing out the air and lifting up/hugging your stomach together with your ab muscles” as you exhale. I coordinate this breathing with exercises like bird dogs, toe taps, glute bridges etc This is all I do for ab workouts! I hardly ever do traditional ab exercises like crunches, I just focus on strengthening and stabilizing my deep core as shown here! And when I DO do crunches or hanging leg raises, I coordinate this same breathing with them!
